Planning Your Wedding? Unique Wedding Catering Options To Consider

When you are in the midst of planning your wedding, you likely find yourself overwhelmed with the many different decisions that you will need to make in the process. One of those decisions is, of course, the food that you will serve at your wedding reception. If you are looking to make your wedding stand out from all of the rest, you may not want to work with your average wedding catering menus and instead choose a menu that is completely unique and different. However, you may not know how you want to achieve those goals. Get to know some of the different ways that you can make a unique wedding catering selection for your upcoming nuptials.

Choose Your Favorite Foods as a Couple

Instead of serving a traditional menu at your wedding reception, you can try to make the menu individualized to you and your future spouse and your tastes. Create a menu made up only of foods that you and/or your spouse love. Think about what your favorite comfort foods are. Do you love macaroni and cheese? If you and your fiance bonded over your mutual love of Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, or any other movie or television series, then a fun way to celebrate that shared interest is to create a reception menu based on those passions. Harry Potter, for example, has inspired numerous cookbooks, both official and unofficial, based on the food and drink items mentioned in the books and films.

Similarly, food plays a dominant role in the Game of Thrones universe and you and your spouse can choose a wedding catering menu based on the primary foods and diet of your favorite houses and kingdoms. When you choose a reception food theme based on a television series or film, you will be sure to have something that is unique that nobody else will have done before.

With these ideas in mind, you can be sure that you are making unique and interesting wedding catering choices for your big day.
